Privacy policy
Clerkship Tutor is run by [YOUR FULL NAME or BUSINESS NAME], Nairobi, Kenya ("we"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019. Contact: lucasmarita17@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and password (stored securely; we can't see your password).
- Your study work: lessons read, class chats with the tutor, quiz and station scores, your knowledge map, cases you log, and settings such as your university.
- Payment confirmations: the M-Pesa code and amount you send us, so we can switch on your access. We don't receive your M-Pesa PIN or bank details.
- Usage: how much you use the AI tutor (so we can manage allowances and costs), and basic technical logs.
Never enter patient details
The case log and tutor are for de-identified cases only. Don't enter names, hospital or IP numbers, exact dates of birth, phone numbers or photos of patients.
How we use it
- To run your course, save your progress and personalise the tutor.
- To manage access, payments, allowances and support.
- To fix problems and improve the content.
We don't sell your data and we don't use it for advertising.
Who processes it for us
- Supabase stores accounts and progress.
- Cloudflare hosts the website.
- Anthropic provides the AI tutor: what you type to the tutor is sent to Anthropic to generate replies.
These providers may store data outside Kenya. We use them only to run the service.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and work while Clerkship Tutor runs so you can return to it. You can download your work at any time (Account → Download my work) or ask us to delete your account.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing us. You may also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC), Kenya.

We'll post any changes here and update the date above.
